Considered once as rare treat, you can’t see much fandom for dark chocolates.
This type of chocolate becomes the acceptable snack for wannabe healthy eaters as recently discovered to have a number of healthy benefits.
The University of Michigan Health System explains that dark chocolate may have beneficial effects on heart health by lowering blood pressure, reducing LDL cholesterol and maintaining healthy blood vessels.
Chocolate contains flavonoids that have been shown to improve cardiovascular health.
So in order to market chocolate products, advertisements target kids as they are the focal point of the family – which means when kids love chocolates then adults have to love them too.
But when it comes to dark chocolate, kids aren’t usually the right audience since it naturally has a more bitter taste compared to a sweet milk chocolate, but levels of cocoa higher than 80 percent make it especially bitter due to low sugar levels.
