Simpson Strong-Tie Collaborates on Deck Planner Software with MOSO North America

Date:

Simpson Strong-Tie and MOSO North America, a global brand in bamboo building goods based in New Jersey, have collaborated on products and software to allow clients to plan and design their deck projects using Simpson Strong-Tie Deck Planner Software.

Edensaw Woods - Marine Plywood & Lumber Yard Supply in Washington State (WA)

The free online deck building software allows contractors, deck builders, and homeowners to design and build their own bespoke deck renderings utilizing MOSO Bamboo X-treme decking material, structural materials, and Simpson Strong-Tie technical knowledge. The deck planner gives consumers all of the information they need to construct a safe, long-lasting, and sustainable deck.

Furthermore, the deck planner includes characteristics that are exclusive to a MOSO Bamboo X-treme deck. Users can choose from four different widths of MOSO Bamboo X-treme decking boards (4″, 6″, and 7″) to see how each will look and to appropriately estimate material requirements. The application can estimate quantities for all MOSO bamboo decking-related items, including fascia boards, in addition to deck boards. Another function may age the designed deck to show customers how the color of the bamboo will naturally change as a result of lengthy exposure to the outdoors.

With precise graphics, construction drawings, and material lists, the Simpson Strong-Tie Deck Planner Program allows users to be creative in constructing completely bespoke decks. Customers can also connect with MOSO North America material vendors in their area to acquire prices and help estimating project expenses accurately.
