D.R. Horton’s Siding is Now Supplied by James Hardie

The largest fiber cement home siding company in North America, James Hardie Building Products Inc., a subsidiary of James Hardie Industries PLC, has announced a national deal with D.R. Horton, Inc., the largest homebuilder in the United States.

By this partnership, James Hardie will be D.R. Horton’s nationwide supplier for hard siding and trim through December 2026.

Horton co-chief operating officer Paul Romanowski said. “We are thrilled to begin this three-year-plus exclusive siding agreement with James Hardie and look forward to continuing our mutual growth.”

Since 2002, D.R. Horton, a 45-year-old company, has been the largest homebuilder in the United States, and it recently celebrated the completion of its one millionth home. In fiscal 2023, the business expects to close around 82,000 residences.
