MoistureShield Collaborates with Mid-Am Building Supply to Distribute Across the Midwest

Date:

MoistureShield, an Oldcastle APG hallmark brand, is teaming up with Mid-Am Building Supplies, Inc. to enhance distribution of its composite decking portfolio throughout the Midwest.

MoistureShield will be distributed by Mid-Am in Centralia, Illinois, Chillicothe and Moberly, Missouri, Mount Pleasant, Iowa, and Spring Hill, Kansas.

“This collaboration with Mid-Am Building Supply supports our shared commitment to best serving our customers by expanding our reach in active markets where our variety of high quality products can help satisfy the demand for more outdoor living solution options,” said Matthew Bruce, MoistureShield’s vice president of sales.

“We’re thrilled to be collaborating with MoistureShield to provide our customers with more options, including the manufacturer’s four distinct product lines and a wide range of composite decking styles and colors,” said Larry Stanfield, director of sales at Mid-Am Building Supplies, Inc.

All MoistureShield products include the Solid Core Difference, which provides moisture protection for installations in the ground, on the ground, or underwater. MoistureShield’s trademark DiamondDefense Coating is included on the Vision range of capped composite decking, with certain colors also featuring proprietary CoolDeck Technology, which the firm claims reduces heat absorption by up to 35% compared to regular composite boards in a similar hue. Meridian by MoistureShield includes CoolDeck and TruTexture Surface, a low-profile wood grain design that mimics the look and feel of real wood. The basic Elevate range, which rounds out the capped product selections, and the Vantage uncapped composite decking are also available.
