PURIS Expands Potable Water Restoration Leadership with the Acquisition of D&D Water & Sewer, Inc.

Date:

PURIS, the premier provider of trenchless infrastructure renewal solutions in North America, is happy to announce the purchase of D&D Water & Sewer, Inc.’s assets (D&D).

D&D, headquartered in Canton, MI, and with a 50+ year track record of success, provides expert underground infrastructure installation and repair solutions to the region.

PURIS Chief Executive Officer Mick Fegan stated, “The combination of D&D’s local expertise and purpose-built operational skills strengthens PURIS’ capacity to serve clients across North America. The D&D purchase broadens our self-perform capabilities, resulting in cost savings for our clients, and builds on the success of our existing Murphy Pipeline Contractors business, which is a market leader in drinking water infrastructure rehabilitation. We can now replace smaller-diameter lead service lines, which have been a rising concern in municipalities across North America, in addition to updating larger diameter potable water transmission lines.”

D&D President Mark DiMichele remarked, “I am overjoyed to be a part of the PURIS family of enterprises. The PURIS platform gives D&D the tools it needs to continue growing while also allowing us to better serve our existing clients by offering them a broader range of trenchless solutions.” DiMichele has joined the PURIS leadership team and will continue to serve on the operations team.

“D&D’s skills place it in a unique position to meet the critical need to improve the safety and efficiency of drinking water delivery. This acquisition will assist in meeting the growing demand for our products “Alan Shor, Chairman of PURIS and Partner at JFLCO, commented.
