There was this news 4 months ago about Russian president extending a retaliatory ban against most Western food imports, including those from Australia, just days after European Union officials prolonged sanctions against Russia over the Ukraine conflict.
Recently, CNN reported that Moscow added more items to the list of banned food and agriculture products from the five counties that support Western sanctions on Russia over its involvement in the crisis in Ukraine: Albania, Montenegro, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Ukraine.
The Russian President Vladimir Putin has also ordered Russian authorities to eradicate all items that break his Western food embargo.
