BlueLinx Expands Distribution Collaboration with LP SmartSide

Date:

The distribution partnership between BlueLinx Holdings Inc. and LP Building Solutions has been expanded.

Plywood Company - Quality Plywood Supplier & Lumber Distributor in Texas (TX)

Throughout the Southeast Area, namely Jacksonville, Tampa, and Lakeland, the extended collaboration will feature LP’s famous Siding Solutions brands and prefinished solutions, namely LP SmartSide Trim & Siding and LP SmartSide ExpertFinish Trim & Siding. This strategic move brings BlueLinx’s LP SmartSide stocking footprint to 11 locations across three LP regions in the United States.

“We are excited about LP and BlueLinx’s continued growth.” Our firms’ goals are aligned in terms of providing best-in-class specialist goods to the single-family, multi-family, and light commercial construction segments. Because of its value proposition, which includes a high-quality product that installs faster and yields more than other choices, LP SmartSide is the fastest-growing siding brand in the United States today. Furthermore, because of LP’s manufacturing efficiencies and utilization of predominantly renewable materials, LP SmartSide is a carbon-negative building product. “We are excited to add these brands to our portfolio in the Southeast,” said Mike Wilson, BlueLinx’s senior vice president of Product Management.

“As LP continues to expand its market share, we are thrilled to broaden our distribution footprint with BlueLinx,” said Chad Wold, general sales manager for LP in the Southeast. Its expansion in Jacksonville, Tampa, and Lakeland will provide our consumers more ways to use SmartSide and ExpertFinish. We are confident in our capacity to sustain development and success for the next decade with world-class partners like BlueLinx.”
