Campbell Remess, a young boy from Hobart in Tasmania, has won the hearts of millions of people around the globe as his story and his good deeds go viral. Campbell Remess Room Teddy Bears

Campbell Remess has been making teddy bears almost every day for three years for sick kids around his community. He has made around 800 teddy bears since he learnt sewing when he was just 9 years old. All of his sewn teddy bears are delivered to the sick children confined at Royal Hobart Hospital to bring happiness and joy.

Campbell’s sewing hobby (that became an amazing habit) all started when he asked her mom, Sonya Whittaker, to buy Christmas presents for the sick kids. But because of financial difficulties (Campbell has eight siblings), her mom swayed away from the idea. This made him decide to create the gifts himself that turns out to be unique and cute teddy bears.  It took around five hours for Campbell to make his first bear but now, he can assemble a teddy in an hour.

Campbell Remess Giving Teddy Bears to Hospital

Campbell’s story truly inspired and moved lots of people around the globe. There are people who are donating items like fur, ribbon and stuffing for the teddy bears.  National and international TV shows are calling up his home for possible interviews. There also some schools that asked for him to visit and deliver inspirational talk to their students. His good deeds and selfless-act simply touched the hearts of millions of people.

Aside from delivering teddy bears to local hospitals, Campbell also ships them overseas to help those kids dealing with sadness and grief. Right now, Campbell and his family along with volunteers are also working on organizing a fundraiser in Hobart for cancer research.
